Anyway got a liner to put in tomorrow I have a spare roll of roofing felt to use as underlay would that be any good doubled up do you think?
Please don’t use that, it will decay overtime and cause damage to your liner in years to come.

I’ve read your previous posts, it seems like you are rushing this.

Take your time, do it properly and you will thank yourself in years to come.

Not rushing really the main dig was the issue as sealing the side of the house up so 40/50 Ton needed to come out also impatient with things willing to pay for mistakes, is there anything rather than pond liner or carpet that would be recommended?

Also the outbuilding isn’t an issue please ignore the outbuilding as I can’t stress enough its not an issue😂 if I needed could I add a filter after the original filter if it’s not up to scratch?

Hi Tsellars1,

I’ll be straight with you, you are rushing.

Take your time pal, you will get it done.

You’ve dug the pond which by the looks of your response was the main thing you needed to get done.

Now get it right, you have bigger fish to fry (pardon the pun) than the pond liner.

DO NOT USE THAT FILTER

It’s not going to be able to sufficiently service the pond size you are planning.

Spend some time and find a correct filter.

Then you can start worrying about your pond liner.

It’s great that you’re keen, but just make sure the basics are done correctly.

To add again, your pond is too close to your neighbours outbuilding, while you have the equipment correct that mistake.

I don’t mind doing some research into your filter if you would like me to? And providing an alternative suggestion.

Again, to re-iterate be open minded, nobody is here to poo poo your ideas, just helpful advice.

Cheers,

Pond Man

That’s sound there is a shuttering going up 300 from the wall then at ground level for them it’s more like 8/900 drops down a bit, I get this with the filters money wise I paid £1100 for pondxpert filter 1600 pump and 0.5 liner didn’t think it was bad I would like it under ground as it will be under a patio ideally

It’s not bad if it services the pond correctly, it will not service the size of your pond. I seem to be the 3rd person confirming this for you.

This isn’t a loaded question but have you had one? Has anyone reading? I’ve seen a lot of bad and good comments that’s all on YouTube and such a lot say if you’re willing to clean it regular (that I am) it’s alright
