Wild pond - lilies

Post by andrew kennedy » August 15th, 2025, 7:11 pm

My pond problem...... 10 x 14 meter surface area. 75 cms deep in the middle. 15 years mature. With pond liner. Lilies mainly. The lilies are of an age where the roots have come to the surface and all is not looking good! So.....I am pulling out the floating roots, cutting of sections showing new growth and replanting in pots. Is what I am doing necessary in future??? Should I be more vigilant in future and at some point get in the pond and cut back the root stock leaving the lilies in place.

Pictures please
If a dogs sense of smell is so good, why do they need to get so close to the other dogs butt?

 Never meant to send that on its own.

Pictures please, love to see mature lilies.
And with pics we can advise on cutting back the rhizomes
