Green larvae in lilly leaves?

Post by Nerrad04 » July 9th, 2013, 1:20 pm

Found this small green larvae in between two small pieces of lilly leaf. Any ideas what he might be? I tried getting a closer pic but it just goes blurry.

Sorry can't tell at the moment it depends how it develops, the other year we had a lot of harlequin ladybird larvae on our lilly Image

so could be a younger stage of the same thing. Has you camera got a macro setting. ?

If a dogs sense of smell is so good, why do they need to get so close to the other dogs butt?

It's a setting used for close up shots, on the mode dial there is usually a symbol that looks like a tulip.

I've found the macro setting on my camera. I knew what you meant as soon as you said the tulip symbol. Will be using that setting in future for close ups.

Those harlequin ladybird larva look nice. I've seen them before but not in my garden I don't think.
