I think we should leave it at that and when ive got some more info ill poststellatus wrote:Norbit I think you are getting variants and species confused, new variants of existing species may be developed over time, look at roses new ones are about each year, but they are still a rose not a new species. you really ought to pay attention![]()
Yes since I left the farm a few new species were imported, but they were known species that were known before and have existed for 1,000 of years we just didn't import them but we did know they existed. The other oddities were just variants normally regional that have become available not new species as you claim.
Does it mean since I left the farm I have stopped learning, of course not Google scholar is a great place among others to stay up to date with the latest research you should try it some time rather than just listening to hearsay and your 10,000 sturgeon comment means you knew exactly what I meant bysorry but they are not the fountain of knowledge you take them for.all you are going on is what you have been told by someone else and they have pulled your chain in the past
Yes Toffee or Toffie as some sellers have called them in the past have been around for over a year I have seen them and know what you are on about.
I am quite used to the snipes on ebay but I will be buggered if I will let you spill that clap-trap here, this site is for verifiable facts.

As long as that info comes from a reliable source. Any further nonsense from the usual suspects will be removed. This is getting rather tedious.
People who can't distinguish between etymology and entomology bug me in ways I cannot put into words.

Jos is the fish biologist who is supposedly creating this new species and selling them to your source of information, as according to you last year your source of information didn't even know the difference between a pallid sturgeon and a paddlefish http://www.pond-life.me.uk/forum/viewto ... f=4&t=3222.
