In desperate .
This forum is in desperate need of new recruitment. Any ideas of getting some worthwhile members, or come to that, non worthwhile?

Re: In desperate .
Sorry everyone. It wasn't meant like that. It's just that it seems to be not that many members. I appreciate ponds are not everyone's cup of tea but they do require constant maintenance. I just thought the forum could be more used. Again, sorry if caused upset.
Re: In desperate .
Think that a lot of Facebook groups have popped up over the last few years and these are more accessable for most users because they already are on Facebook.
If this was my site I'd probably do the odd Facebook post on a pond group linking but to here and hope the admins there do not mind.

Re: In desperate .
It's my site and there will be no links/posts or anything else to do with Facebook here. I explained my reasons years ago here and have not changed my mind. There's even more reasons to block that cesspit of a site now.
| note: the content in this box was edited after the post was made. Also, what you are suggesting is spam. We ban & blacklist people for doing that here so it would be extremely hypocritical for us to do it elsewhere. |

Hi Guppy ....feel free to post away to make the site more interesting for you .
You get out of any forum what the members put in , look at the post count of the likes of the site owners and Huso etc etc
Arse book is a complete waste of time as far as proper information goes , this forum is a mine field of correct information documented over many many years , all availble for free via the search function .....the site owners pay fees for the site , again all free to use
Forums , all of them have taken a back seat imho as people use facebook pages as they are all ready on there .
As far as facebook pond groups go be prepared for all the armchair experts and the bile and miss information that goes with these groups .
Just saying ......i would sooner be on a forum with less traffic then a facebook page of people talking tripe
