nice to see a dry Bergen, a place so famous for its rain, I used to live down the coast for a while in Stavanger, a lovely part of the world and some where were you wont have to worry to much about your grandchild's upbringing

Had to divert to Stavanger for fuel as we could not land at Bergen Flesland due to snow on runway,yes does make a change from the rain,this is their dog Boffy waiting for me on Friday,he loves the snow,they have a cabin near Voss where they ski and snowboard,Boffy has saddle bags with his own food and gear and gives them a tow on a long lead.sorry pic not very clear.This is better.ImageImage

did you get to the mainland down there?

I worked there for 6 months a few years back, love th eplace and i also liked having no comms to the outside world

Hi bowsaw.not me my son Tom had 18 months on KEP then Rothera for BAS,where he met his girlfriend and he went back to Norway with her,they are his pics that he sent to me.

I worked on a fishing boat around KEP for 6 months of winter 5 or so years ago, tiny little boat and some nice big seas, got to visit the KEP BAS site briefly on inspection day for the boat
