Lovely pics Mel

You walk for much the same reason I cycle. Often hard to get the motivation to get dressed up and go out- and yet I am always so glad I made the effort. When I do some of the really long rides mostly on my own because most of the guys are faster (and younger  ) people wonder why I do it- but there's lots of great thinking time out there in nature getting views that car drivers never notice or take the time to look at properly. It's food for the soul

If you wanted to create a blog then I have several friends using the free version of Wordpress. It has templates and stuff so you don't need to be very techie to make it work https://wordpress.com/create/?currency= ... oCQlfw_wcB

Hi Lara ....

My neighbor is a keen cyclist he did 62 miles yesterday ( puts me to shame ) but my bike is still the Tesco cheapo one

Some toe rags robbed his bikes last year but he is back into it again and does some charity rides .

He runs / cycles and still works , very active fantastic for 67 years old .

Hi Mel,its Agotnes, Bergen in Norway,my youngest son lives there with his Norwegian partner. went for the weekend to see my newest grandchild Alfred, went Friday back Sunday,we go quite regular.i have more photos of there and from their cabin in land if any one is interested in seeing them, perhaps we could have a travel blog as you suggested,we live in north Shropshire just on the Cheshire border.
