Yes I quite like the look. I call it the 'mad marshall' look, due to the fact that a hailstorm had just stopped when that was taken and I stood there in it as a volunteer, just for the love of motorsport, still with a big grin across my face :cuckoo:

Anyway, im afraid ive got to go now. A bit too much excitement for the day

GirlRacer wrote:Personally, I recommend the food from orchard. I do let snooks have the odd worm or maggot (Bullocks, Snooks is my siberian Sturgeon,2ft), but I feed it to him as his stable diet. I used to use tetra but I couldnt afford to keep it up. I know that some of the cheaper foods are actually bad for them but the food from orchard is great

Ive never heard of any type of sturgeon that cant touch it so I cant see a problem feeding it to yours. Stelly, is the guy in the know
Yes I read and heard about Orchids food, I have to get an order in, I just got tetra because its a known brand I trust and little Snowy needs food :)

If it's the one I've just replied to it was because they haven't fed the sturgeon since November because the koi eat the sturgeon food. The sturgeon isn't dead yet though, or it wasn't earlier this evening. :dunno:

People still seem to be stuck in the past as far as fish food is concerned. It used to be crap and not suitable for feeding in cold weather but the food now is a lot different. Our fish get the same food all year round. If the koi are active they will get some of the sturgeon food but it doesn't do them any harm.

Ours tend to have a little bit, but they dont eat enough to cause any problems.
