I believe I've just found the caterpillar to your Privet Hawk Moth. What a large and attractive beast he is.

I had thought about it and would love to but not sure on the right environment to keep him in. I've already released him as I believe he's better off in the wild. Hopefully he will come back and see me one day in all his natural glory

He's reappeared and seems to be trying to dig himself underground. Do they hide underground before they turn into a chrysalis does anyone happen to know?
