You would of thought the out flow pipe being high would cause back up in the pod.... my pond is 3 1/2 - 4 feet high like a raised patio pond

Yeah the pump is turned down to 2600 i have a pressure filter system at the moment oase filterclear 11000 with a evolution aqua tempest as a fine filter.... but looking at the easypod just working out siteing it as the easypid needs to be pond level and my pond is raised 40 inches.

I have a 11000 pressure filter but saw a post where skeet ? Replied with a easy pod reply in 2018 My question is since i use a waterfall with and drainage using flexi tube can you use flexi tube hose with the easypod i have a pond 350 gallon with around 25 goldfish n tench and rudd. My pump is 10,00...

I kept my waterfall and filters going bit pipework froze breaking my UV quartz glass the pipe split too on thawing.The waterfall froze my Temps were around -6°C

Any pointers to stopping filter pipes freezing up ?
Or is it better just to drain them off to protect them from -5 Temps

On a plus point just did a oxygen test 8pm and it's very high in dissolved oxygen..more than 8mg/L (ppm)

I have cress on the top surface they use it as cover in the long roots and waterfall... they act like carp which I have seem just float on the top surface but obviously during the day as hard to see a lake at night... but my pond has plenty of dissolved oxygen... maybe like you say either warmer on ...

Any idea as to why fish tend to swim close to the surface esp at night....they stay around the middle to bottom them just float at the surface.... its not gasping either plenty of oxygen.... just curious really all fit n healthy it's only the goldfish and rudd lurking at the surface tench are happy ...
