I have some big carp and some koi in a pond that has no chance of catching them in a Koi sock. The only net I can find has a mesh that is too large and risks damaging the fish and is also not sturdy enough to lift the weight. The largest fish is about 20lb does anyone have any suggestions of the best...

Re: Predator problems

We have now lost 4 fish that we are aware of. All good sized goldfish, as yet the Koi seem to be unaffected but we are worried. We have not caught anything on camera as it seems to be sporadic, taking the fish we know of over a period of about 6 weeks!! We added extra netting but last night it had b...

Predator problems

After 14 years with no major issues we have in the last week found two goldfish on the lawn with missing heads. The bodies seemed otherwise unharmed. We have a lot more fish and koi so are keen to stop the activity. It has been suggested that it may be mink? If anyone has more knowledge to advise on...

Re: Moving a big one.

I have two diamond back sturgeons who have outgrown our pond so I will be looking to find them a great new home later this year. Reading up on moving them I am worried I just don’t know enough or have the right equipment to be sure I am looking after them well enough during a move. Is it acceptable ...

Re: silicone

I have a very similar dilemma. I have a resin waterfall that sits in real stone. When the waterfall is turned on I am losing water. I want to seal the edges where stone meet resin. Any suggestions on something safe and effective?
